3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk or cream
Butter
Vanilla

Take 1/2 cup of sugar and brown over low heat. Add remaining sugar and milk. Cook until it begins to softly boil. Add butter and vanilla to taste. Beat until it looses its gloss.
