CHERRY NUT BREAD 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. salad oil
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 c. chopped nuts
1 can water-packed cherries (pitted)

Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk and salad oil and add to dry ingredients, beating well. Stir in nuts. Rinse cherries and chop in blender. Stir into batter. Pour into 1 regular loaf pan or 3 baby loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes.
