EASY PEASY CHEESY GRITS | |
This is a great compliment to an eggs and toast breakfast, or any other combination. A southern food from a southern family. 1 1/2 cups of water pinch salt 6 tbsp. grits 1/2 oz. sharp cheddar cheese Bring water and salt to boil. Slowly add dry grits. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4 minutes. Remove cover, add cheese, simmer an additional two minutes, stirring until cheese is melted. ENJOY!!! Serves 2.
