EASY PEASY CHEESY GRITS 
This is a great compliment to an eggs and toast breakfast, or any other combination. A southern food from a southern family.

1 1/2 cups of water
pinch salt
6 tbsp. grits
1/2 oz. sharp cheddar cheese

Bring water and salt to boil. Slowly add dry grits. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 4 minutes. Remove cover, add cheese, simmer an additional two minutes, stirring until cheese is melted. ENJOY!!!

Serves 2.

Note: You may double, triple, or more with this easy recipe :)

I love to make cheese grits fresh. I fix 1 serving following container instructions. When it is finished and still hot... I add a small chunk of butter and 1 slice of a favorite cheese (usually Pepper Jack) - then stir together. The heat melts everything. A delicious & easy, quick breakfast addition.
