2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
1 c. Sweet Milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream Crisco and butter. Add eggs; cream well. Add flour and milk alternately. Then flavoring and baking powder as the last thing. Pour into tube pan, well greased. Start with cold oven. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
