6 tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. applesauce
1 tsp. shredded orange peels
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Beat all ingredients together and spread in greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean. Top with orange icing.
