CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE 
2 eggs
1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp. bourbon whiskey
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate bits, melted
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 c. heavy cream whipped & sweetened
Or 1 (7 oz.) Aerosol can whipped topping

Line a 9 inch pie pan with pastry. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs with electric mixer until foamy. Gradually add sugars and flour, beat until smooth. Add butter, beating until well blended. Stir in whiskey, melted chocolate and pecans.

Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake about 35 minutes until surface is golden brown and a knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Cool completely. Serve with whipped cream if desired. Makes 8 servings.
