BREAD PUDDING WITH WHISKEY SAUCE 
1 loaf stale French bread
4 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. pecans, chopped

Combine all ingredients; stir just until bread is moistened. Pour into buttered baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve warm with Whiskey Sauce.

WHISKEY SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 block butter
Whiskey
