SKILLET BEEF 
3 lb. steak, cubed
2 lg. onions, peeled & chopped
1/2 c. butter
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2 lg. tomatoes, peeled & sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Dash each of salt, pepper, paprika
1/2 c. flour, blended with water

In a large skillet, brown onions in butter. Add the meat and bay leaves, half cover with water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add tomatoes, garlic, green pepper and mushrooms. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika. Simmer until meat is tender. Thicken the gravy with flour which has been blended with water. Remove bay leaves before serving.
