JIMMIE LAIR'S BEEF STEW | |
4 tbsp. low fat butter 1 lb. stew beef or steak, cut in sm. pieces Kitchen Bouquet 1 onion, diced 1 pkg. carrots, diced 5 lb. bag Irish potatoes, diced Meat tenderizer (Savers Seasoned) Brown meat in 4 tablespoons of butter in a large pressure cooker or pot with a lid. Add 1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet to browning meat. Add approximately 8 cups of water, onion, carrots, potatoes and sprinkle tenderizer over top of all. Cook on high until boiling, then simmer and check and stir occasionally, adding Kitchen Bouquet to color and to taste. Cook with lid over ingredients from 1 to 2 hours. |
