STUFFING FOR TURKEY AND CHICKEN 
4 lb. sliced bread, dried, cubed, lightly sprinkled with sage or poultry seasoning; OR 4 (14 oz.) pkg. sage seasoned croutons

Cook together:

2 lb. seasoned sausage
1 lb. ground chuck
2 onions, diced
4 stalks celery, diced
1 apple, diced
Scalded milk, up to 1/2 gallon
4 eggs

Yields 1 filled turkey plus large bowl to pass or freeze.

Add all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Season generously with poultry seasoning. Salt to taste. Taste test, add more seasoning if desired.

CAUTION: Spoils easily. I do croutons and cook meat mixture day before. Refrigerate meat. Day of use: warm meat, milk and mix together with eggs, seasonings and salt.

Freeze uncooked dressing.
