CABBAGE LASAGNA 
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 med. cabbage, shredded
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (18 oz.) can tomato paste
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Saute ground beef, onion and pepper until meat is brown. Boil cabbage until tender.

Save 2 cups of the liquid and drain off whatever liquid remains. Combine 2 cups of the reserved cabbage liquid, oregano, salt, pepper and tomato paste and simmer over low heat for 4 minutes. Add meat, onion and green pepper to tomato mixture into a 9 by 13 inch pan.

Layer cabbage, then remaining tomato mixture. Top with slices of cheese to cover. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is browned, about 30 to 45 minutes.
