SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 unbaked 8 inch pie shell
2 lg. eggs
1 c. dairy sour cream
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins

Prepare pie shell. Beat eggs, sour cream, salt, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg together until well blended. Stir in raisins. Pour into pastry shell. Bake below oven center in a 375 degree oven until set 40 minutes. Cool. If desired top each serving with a spoonful of sour cream.

Known as funeral pie in days gone by.
