CHOCOLATE CHIP PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. powdered milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/2 tbsp. shortening, melted
1 1/4 c. corn syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. pecan pieces
1/4 c. chocolate chips
1 (10 inch) unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs with sugar, salt and vanilla. Combine powdered milk and flour. Add to egg mixture. Mix for 3 minutes. Add melted butter and shortening and mix for 2 minutes. Add corn syrup; mix for 3 minutes, then stir in pecan pieces by hand. Add chocolate chips and mix thoroughly. Pour into unbaked 10-inch pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until firm on top.
