QUICK & EASY "HOT CROSS BUNS" 
2 tbsp. +1 1/2 tsp. raisins, soaked until plump & drained
1/2 tsp. grated fresh orange peel
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 pkg. (5 oz.) refrigerated buttermilk flaky biscuits (5 biscuits)
1 tbsp. confectioner's sugar, sifted
1/2 tsp. water
Dash grated fresh lemon peel, optional

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In small bowl, combine first 3 ingredients. Separate biscuits and, using hands, flatten each; spoon 1/5 of raisins mixture onto center of each biscuit and fold dough over filling, pressing edges together to seal and forming 5 balls. Set balls seam-side down on baking sheet and bake until golden, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove buns to wire rack to cool.

In small bowl combine sugar, water and (if desired) lemon peel; drizzle an equal amount of mixture in shape of a cross over each cooled bun.

Makes 5 servings, one bun each. Each serving provides one bread plus 25 calories.
