FRIED WONTON | |
1 pkg. wonton skin 1 egg white Oil for deep frying FILLING: 1 lb. ground pork 1 sm. onion (finely chopped) 1/8 tsp. five spice powder 1/2 tsp. sesame oil 1/4 tsp. MSG 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. sugar 1 egg yolk 1/2 lb. shrimp (peeled, finely chopped) optional 1 tsp. corn or potato starch Dash of pepper, optional Mix all ingredients for filling together. Put about one teaspoon filling in the center of wonton skin. Fold in half diagonally then seal edge with egg white. Deep fry at 350 degrees until light brown. |
