FRANKFURTER/CHEESE BAKE 
6 franks, sliced thin
1 med. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 c. milk
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices bread
2 eggs, beaten

Cook franks and onions in 2 tablespoons butter until lightly browned. Blend in mustard. Cut bread slices in halves. Arrange 8 halves in bottom of greased 8" baking pan. Spread with remaining butter. Cover with frank mixture, sprinkle with cheese, top with remaining bread slices. Combine eggs and milk and pour over bread. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
