MOM'S PEPPER RELISH 
4 c. ground onions
1 med. hard head cabbage, ground
10 green tomatoes, ground
12 green peppers, ground
6 red peppers, ground
1/2 c. salt
6 c. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/4 tsp. turmeric
4 c. vinegar
2 c. water

Mix vegetables; add salt and let stand overnight. Rinse and drain well. Add sugar, seeds, turmeric, vinegar, and water. Bring to boil and cook 3 minutes. Put in jars and seal. Makes 12 pints.
