PEANUT BRITTLE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. raw peanuts

In medium saucepan, combine first 3 ingredients. Boil until it reaches the soft-ball stage. Add vanilla, baking soda and raw peanuts. Boil until it reaches the hard-boiled stage. Remove from heat and pour directly on greased (buttered) cookie sheets. Cool completely and crack the candy. Store in airtight container.
