MICROWAVE CRUNCH BARS 
1 c. chips (chocolate or any kind)
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light syrup
4 c. cornflakes

Put in microwave-safe quart container and melt in microwave oven for 1 1/2 minutes on High. Stir well and pour over 4 cups cornflakes. Stir well and press into an 8-inch square pan or 7 x 11 inch pan or glass dish. Melt 1/2 cup chips on medium for 1 1/2-2 minutes. Stir until glossy and spread over cornflakes. Cool in refrigerator and cut in squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
