STANDARD RUMFORD WAFFLES 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, separated
1 1/4 c. milk
4 tbsp. melted butter

Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Add egg yolk and milk, beating well. So as to make a smooth batter. Stir in melted butter and last moment fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
