KRIS & KIM'S FAVORITE "MEATY"
CHILI
 
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, diced
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 qt. tomato juice
2 tsp. kitchen bouquet
2 tsp. Morton's seasoning blend
3 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. hot sauce (optional)
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tbsp. green peppers, diced
1 can chili beans with sauce

Saute ground beef and onion in saucepan over medium heat. Drain grease. Add tomato sauces, paste, juice and seasonings. Mix well. Cover (in crock pot if desired) and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Add the chili beans and continue cooking for about 15 to 20 minutes longer. Serves 8 to 12.
