NINA'S PEANUT BUTTER SHAKE | |
french vanilla ice cream (spend money on the good stuff) 2 tbsp. peanut butter (I use Jif) big cup and spoon Spoon out some ice cream into the cup. Add in peanut butter on the top. Smear the peanut butter until it covers the top of the ice cream like you are icing a cake. Let it sit for about 3 minutes. In this time part of the peanut butter has started freezing, now take your spoon and plunge it into the entire thing till you hit the bottom. Jab it about 10 times in different places to break up the surface. In the gaps you have made, smoosh down some peanut butter into those holes. Stir the entire mixture until it's smooth. There should still be chunks of peanut butter in places and this is great! Allowing it to freeze a bit changed the flavor and it's much sweeter now with the fats so cold. Reminds me of a blizzard and very rich! Submitted by: Nina |
