1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
16 oz. chocolate chips

Combine shortening and peanut butter. Add sugars and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Add chips. Spoon on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
