4 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. butter
3 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate bits
2/3 c. peanut butter

Mix all ingredients except chocolate bits and peanut butter to make a crumbly mixture. Press into a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees.

Melt the chocolate bits and peanut butter together over fairly low heat, stirring constantly. Pour on oatmeal mixture as soon as you remove it from the oven. Cool and cut into squares.
