MAGIC COOKIE BARS | |
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut 1 (6 1/2 oz.) pkg. Nestle's semi-sweet morsels 1 c. chopped pecans 1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs Melt butter in 9x13 inch baking pan. Shake cracker crumbs evenly on the bottom of pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour can of sweetened milk evenly over the top of the cracker crumbs. Then sprinkle the entire contents of the chocolate chips onto the milk. Next, sprinkle a layer of the pecans over the morsels. Then finally shake the entire contents of the can of coconut onto the layer of nuts. This is the final step. Put into the oven and bake for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the coconut is a deep golden brown. Make sure not to remove too soon as this will cause the mixture to run. Let sit until completely cool, then cut into squares and serve. |
