SUGARLESS COOKIES 
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
1/2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. dates
1 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 tsp. liquid sweetener
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal

Boil raisins, dates and apples in 1 cup water for 2 minutes. Don't drain. Add shortening and cool. Add beaten eggs, sweetener and other ingredients. Mix well. Chill well.

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet, flatten with a fork. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and refrigerate in an airtight container.
