STRAWBERRY FREEZER JAM 
2 qts. strawberries
3 1/4 c. sugar

Set aside.

1 box Sure Jell

Clean, remove stems and crush strawberries.

Add 1/4 cup of sugar to Sure Jell. Add to crushed fruit, mix and let set for 30 minutes.

Add reserved sugar and mix well, sugar should be added slowly. Stir until sugar is dissolved.

Pack into small jars with good fitting lids. Be sure jars and lids are sterilized in hot water.

Let jam sit on counter, room temperature, 24 hours. Do not disturb. Then store in freezer. When thawed for use, remaining jam must be stored in refrigerator.

This also makes a wonderful topping for ice cream.
