CARAMEL APPLE PIE 
2 1/2 c. Jonathan apples, thinly sliced
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
25 caramels
3 tbsp. milk
1 Pet Ritz regular pie crust shell
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
La Creme whipping topping, thawed

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine apples, sugar and flour; set aside. In a double boiler, melt caramels with milk, stirring frequently. Add apple mixture. Spoon mixture into pie crust and top with nuts. Bake on preheated baking sheet for 25 minutes. Allow to cool 1 hour. May be served warm or cold. Garnish with La Creme. Makes 6 servings.
