1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2-3 tbsp. amaretto
1 tbsp. brandy
1/2 c. finely chopped almonds, toasted
Additional finely chopped almonds, toasted (optional)

Combine all ingredients, except almonds, in a mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed of electric mixer until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup almonds. Spoon into serving dish; garnish with additional almonds, if desired. Serve with assorted fresh fruit or crackers. Yield: about 1 1/4 cups.
