MARINATED MUSHROOMS 
2/3 c. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 med. clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. water
Dash of Tabasco sauce
12 oz. can button mushrooms
1 med. onion, cut in slices

Combine all ingredients except mushrooms and onions. Pour in mushrooms (drained). Put onion rings on top. Cover and refrigerate 8-24 hours. Serve cold.
