WINTER FRUIT SALAD | |
1 (20.5 oz.) can pineapple chunks 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 2 egg yolks 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained 1 (16 oz.) can pear halves, drained and chopped 1 (16 oz.) can Queen Anne cherries, drained and pitted 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows 2-3 med. bananas Drain pineapple, reserving 1 cup juice. Set aside. Combine reserved juice, sugar, and flour in small pan; mix well. Cook over medium heat until thick. Beat egg yolks until lemon colored. Gradually stir about 1/4 of hot mixture into yolks. Add to remaining hot mixture, stirring constantly. Cool. Add remaining ingredients, except bananas. Mix well. Chill. Just before serving, add bananas. Delicious!! |
