SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 lb. hamburger
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Salt and pepper
1 c. diced celery
1 cucumber, cubed
1 green pepper, cubed
1 onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks

SAUCE:

1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar

Make 1 to 1 1/2 inch meat balls. Brown in oil. Remove from pan. In drippings, stir-fry the above vegetables and pineapple chunks until partially cooked. Return meatballs to pan. Add the sauce and cook until done. Thicken with 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water. Very good served over rice.
