FRUITED PORK CHOPS 
8 lg. center cut pork chops, 1 1/2 to 2 in. thick
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. chicken broth
6 oz. dried apricots
6 oz. dried figs
3 cooking apples, peeled and sliced
3 yellow onions, sliced
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger

Use a wide open casserole. Arrange pork chops in a single layer. Cover with fruit mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Open foil, push fruit aside and allow to brown for 1/2 hour.
