CHINESE STYLE SOUR PICKLES 
1 cucumber
1/8 sliced onion
5 oz. water
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 red pepper, chopped
1/2 stick celery
2 2/3 tbsp. Japanese vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil

Combine vinegar, water, soy sauce, sugar and sesame oil. Slowly stir and add red pepper. Take off strings in celery. Cut cucumber and celery into strips. Put vegetables in a jar and pour mixture over them.
