PICKLED BEETS 
1 can beets
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves

Heat to boiling and pour over 2 cups sliced, cooked beets. Let stand 6 hours.
