SPAETZLE 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk

Mix and beat dough vigorously. Put sections of dough on a plate and with a knife cut slivers of dough into boiling water, allow one batch to boil about 6 minutes. Scoop spaetzles out with strainer and put on platter. Proceed with the next plate full until all the spaetzle dough is used up.

For extra flavor melt 1/8 lb. butter in small frying pan, drop heaping tablespoon of Farina into butter, swish around in hot butter to a nice golden yellow, pour all this over the platter of spaetzle. Serve at once. Great with beef stew.
