LEMON DROP TEACAKES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. orange juice and grated rind
1 egg
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sour milk

Cream sugar and Crisco; add orange juice and rind and egg and mix. Add dry ingredients and sour milk; mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake until edges are gold.

Icing: Combine juice and rind of 1 lemon with enough powdered sugar to thicken. Ice lightly while cakes are warm.
