SNICKERDOODLES 
1 c. butter or shortening
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 2/3 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Mix in rest of ingredients. Roll dough into balls and dip into a sugar and cinnamon mixture (2 teaspoons of each). Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
