BRISKET IN BEER 
5 or 6 lbs. of brisket
2 cloves of garlic, cut into small pieces
2 onions
1 bottle chili sauce
1 can of beer

Place brisket in roasting pan fat side up. Make slits in the meat and insert pieces of garlic. Place sliced onions on top of beef and pour chili sauce and beer over the brisket. Roast at 350 degrees for approximately 3 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Roast uncovered. May be made in advance, sliced and reheated. Freezes well.
