SHRIMP GUMBO 
6 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. bacon fat
1 green pepper
4 med. onions
1 stalk celery
3 lbs. frozen or fresh shrimp
Salt and pepper to taste
6 c. boiled rice
2 lbs. okra
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
2 sm. cans tomato paste
9 c. chicken stock - can use chicken bouillon cubes - 1 cube to a c. of water
1 can crabmeat (sm.)
2 bay leaves

Brown flour in bacon fat. Cut pepper, onions, celery and okra into small pieces. Add to fat. Stir constantly and cook 20 minutes.
