TEA CHEESE BISCUITS | |
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour 1/2 tsp. salt 8 tbsp. (1 stick) butter 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, grated 1 potato, peeled, boiled & mashed (to make about 1/2 c.) 1/2 tsp. dry mustard In a bowl place flour and salt together, add in the butter until it resembles fine bread crumbs. Add the cheese, potato and mustard. Mix with your fingers until a light dough has formed. Roll out dough about 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds with 2 inch cookie cutters. Arrange on greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until light golden in color. Serve with butter. |
