TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
7 c. diced Granny Smith or Red Delicious apples 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 2 eggs 1 tbsp. vinegar 8 oz. Cool Whip 2 c. dry roasted peanuts, crushed Drain pineapple (save juice). Mix flour, sugar and juice in saucepan. Cook until thickened. Cool. Whip eggs in a cup. Add vinegar, then add to flour mixture and cook until thickened. When cool, add Cool Whip and pineapple; mix. Add diced apples and chopped peanuts; mix well. Store in refrigerator overnight. |
