ELENOR'S HEATH BAR CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
6 chocolate coated toffee bars
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Sift flour once. Measure and add soda and salt; sift into a mixing bowl. Add butter and sugars. Cut with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Set aside 1/2 of the mixture.

Combine egg and buttermilk. Add to dry ingredients and beat to blend. Pour into a greased and lightly floured 9 x 13 inch pan.

Combine chopped candy bars, nuts and the reserved crumbs. Sprinkle over the top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
