CRUNCHY PECAN COOKIES 
2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
1 cup chopped pecans
5 dozen pecan halves (1 for each cookie)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl combine flour, butter, brown sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Stir in butterscotch morsels and chopped pecans.

Shape dough into balls using one rounded teaspoon for each. Press a pecan half into center of dough. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes.

Makes 5 dozen cookies.
