4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour and baking powder. Cream butter; add sugar, Jello and cream well. Add egg and vanilla to butter mixture. Add it to flour mixture. Bake in 400 degree oven for about 14 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.

Note: If you use strawberry Jello you will have red cookies, if you use lime Jello, you will have green cookies, etc.
