OATMEAL CRISP COOKIES 
1 c. (2 sticks) margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix first five ingredients together. Then add flour and baking powder. Mix in quick cooking oatmeal and chopped nuts. Form into 2 or 3 long rolls and refrigerate overnight.

When ready to make cookies, slice cookies from dough, place on prepared baking sheets and bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
