GREEN ONION SAUCE 
4 tbsp. butter
1 c. sliced green onions including green tops
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 c. evaporated milk

Melt butter in medium sized saucepan. Add onions and cook gently over low heat, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in flour and seasonings. Gradually blend in evaporated milk. Cook over low heat until thick. Serve hot over cooked new potatoes or over baked potatoes. Serves 4.
