GLAZED ICING 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. powdered sugar

Blend 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in small saucepan. Boil until thread stage (230 degrees). Remove from heat. Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar. If mixture becomes sugary while brushing cookies, reheat slightly, adding a little water until clear again.
