PEAR PIE 
1 stick of butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. apple pie spice
1 qt. jar pears, drained
2 (9 inch) pie shells
1 egg white, beaten
Sugar

Mix butter, sugar, flour and apple spice together. Pour pears into uncooked pie shell, pour mixture over pears. Put extra pie shell (soft) on top, press edges. Cut small holes in top of shell. Take 1 egg white, beaten, brush on top of shell. Then sprinkle with sugar. Bake in oven at 325 degrees until pie is golden brown.
