BUTTER PRETZEL COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels (about 36 thin twisted pretzels)
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sift flour, sugar, and salt together. Work in the butter and vanilla, then add milk and pretzels. Shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake in oven for about 25 minutes. While still warm, roll cookies in confectioners' sugar. Makes about 5 dozen.
